What's up guys! In this video, we're taking two pieces of railroad track, welding them together, and then grinding the surface down to achieve the desired "anvil" face.
I'll be covering a few different topics throughout the video, including some welding tips!

These tracks weren't exactly the same size when I started, so I used some 7018, and built up the surface to level it all out.
Hit everything with a grinder, and started testing it out!

The weld build up honestly surprised me. It held up much better than I expected it too!

I did pre-heat both sets of track, before I ever started welding, and then gave it another good heat with a torch when I was finished.
All in All, this ended up being one of my new favorite creations!
