The lost continent of Mu is, like Atlantis, a mythical civilization that would have existed in antediluvian times. But what about historical reality?

In this video, we are going to present the legend of Mu as it circulates nowadays in works of fiction or on social networks, then in a second step we will return to the origins of the legend (late 19th and early 20th) as that it was built by Augustus le Plongeon, Helena Blavatsky, and especially James Churchward. The third part of the show will consist of comparing the elements of the legend of Mu against historical and archaeological reality.

This investigation will take us on a journey to the archaeological sites of Central and South America, to the ancient lands of the Mayas, Aztecs and Incas, but also to the island of Easter and its famous Moais. We will also talk about linguistics and the famous tablets of Naakals (allegedly discovered by James Churchward).

We will follow the trail of several underwater archaeological sites (Yonaguni, Bimini, Khambat etc...) and we will also study the mythologies of the peoples concerned in order to see if the myth of the lost continent of Mu fits in reality or in that of the fables and the dream world of Corto Maltese.
