Doing some excavation with a hand shovel can cause damage to public utilities and privately owned underground wires if your not careful.
Please call (Miss utilities 811) before you dig! 🤕 And a private locate contractor, for privately owned underground cables and piping to prevent damage!
I was careful and still managed to skin this low voltage landscape lighting wire. I'm gonna show you how I fixed it with an in-line soldier splice and Marine grade heat shrink as a permanent repair!
