We continue our Great Seljuk Empire series with Sultan Alparslan's Battle of Manzikert.

When Sultan Alparslan went on the Egypt Campaign, Romanian Diogenes attacked the Seljuks with the largest army in the history of Eastern Rome. Upon the arrival of the Roman army, Sultan Alparslan had to gather the Great Seljuk army and take action to meet him and postpone the Egypt Expedition.
