Hakuba Village is one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Japan☃
The magnificent scenery of the Japan Northern Alps and skiing and snowboarding in winter
A resort area famous for winter sports
It is also the location where the Nagano Winter Olympics were held.
The campsite we used this time is
Romperdog Run&Site – Specialized campsite for dogs
It's the best place for your dog to spend time off-leash inside the fence🐕‍🦺

I had time until check-in, so I enjoyed the town of Hakuba 🚗

To Starbucks coffee inside the store
Dogs can be held or carried inside the store.
Dogs are allowed on the terrace seats.

I was so moved by seeing the beautiful mountains in all directions! !
The Northern Alps in winter are exceptionally beautiful! !
From there, complete the purchase at A Coop in Hakuba.
After eating curry bread

Enjoy Zaru Soba at “Soba Restaurant Riki”
28 soba noodles made with buckwheat flour from Hakuba Village
The zaru soba was surprisingly cold.
I guess it's because the water is cold...
The soba noodles will be quite thin.
Maybe you have a preference...
I didn't really smell the soba noodles.

And then to the “footbath”
The footbath was supposed to warm me up, but it was windy and cold.
The hot springs aren't warm...my body is getting colder and colder...
Of course, the coldest wave of the season hit on this day.
Extremely cold, below freezing even during the day...
This is the strongest cold wave of the season, and there is a possibility of warning-level heavy snow on the Sea of Japan side, where active snow clouds are flowing in!

Hakuba Village has a warm winter and little snow this year
The snow on the site is so thick that you can just step on it with your feet.

Today's camping meal "Motsunabe"
Add sweet barley miso to the soup made with Shinshu miso.
We will make Azuki DX's special motsu nabe.
It's definitely a dish that you want to make at least once a year.
The weather gradually starts to snow and turns into heavy snow

It's a tremendous amount of snow, and it's snowing more and more (sweat)

The jacket is an AEGIS fusion down jacket.
Pants are Aegis fusion down pants, cold and waterproof.
Inner is fiber layer lining aluminum crew neck
When it's cold, I also wear my REPAIR-TECH washable fusion down jacket
And wear warm boa tights under the pants.
The boots are Mitsuma Olex boots.
