In Rwanda, ecological degradation from over-farming of wetland areas caused the near failure of the country's hydroelectricity supply. The Government undertook an Agro-ecological Natural Technology Solutions approach and has seen vast improvements.

We can rehabilitate damaged ecosystems. We can transfer technology and capital to empower the local people to restore their own environment to ensure food security for people who are chronically hungry, while at the same time sequestering carbon, reducing biodiversity loss, mitigate against flooding, drought and famine. This can be done on a global scale.

We can do this with the simple application of Agricultural Natural Technology Solutions and Permaculture Design principles, such as earthworks, water harvesting, soil building, creating biodiversity.

Anybody can take a Permaculture Design Course and learn how to do this in their local area or internationally. There are over 1,000 such courses taught all over the world each year. You can find one here: http://permacultureglobal.com/users or take one online: http://permaculturevisions.com

It is time to solve hunger worldwide, through creating local food abundance.... Anyone can do it, once you learn how.
