The croissants of my childhood! My grandmother's recipe
Ingredients:
200 ml of warm milk.
4 tablespoons of sugar.
7 g of vanilla sugar.
1 teaspoon of salt.
25 g of fresh yeast.
mix well.
800 g of wheat flour.
200 g of lard.
mix well.
2 egg yolks.
2 tablespoons of sour cream.
add the milk.
knead the dough until it is homogeneous.
divide the dough into 2 equal parts.
cover and leave for 20 minutes.
add the filling according to your preferences.
form the cornulets.
do the same with the other pieces of dough.
mix 1 egg yolk with 2 tablespoons of milk.
bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
sprinkle with powdered sugar.
