This was one of my favourite days at Lechlade. it was a tough day, with murky water and not many fish showing in the margins. My method of blind stalking was deadly but my choice of sinking line was not. I chose to go for a fast sinking line but should have changed to a fast intermittent line as I felt that my fly was fishing too deep. my mate Richard Lyndsey was on the boat and they had browns to over 20lbs!
