On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, Alan Gilbert conducts Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5, which was on the programme at the first concert of the newly founded Symphony Orchestra of the North West German Radio in 1945. Because of the corona pandemic the concert was held without on-site audience.
