The nation of the Qeros
a hidden town between the most imposing mountains of southern Peru
an adventure that will keep the memory of this town through time without a doubt.
One of the greatest experiences of my life was being able to go back to this great Andean town that is considered the last nation of the Quechuas direct descendants of the Quechua culture (Incas) because of their blood runs generations from the origins of the greatest civilization of South America, proud of its legacy is the nation of the Qeros.
At more than 5000 meters above sea level is this small town that is threatened with losing its culture and customs due to globalization itself, and the increasing influx of tourists in the area and the presence of mining in several of its mountains, even in this time preserves the ancestral knowledge that was inherited through the years from generation to generation.
hidden from civilization until the mid-nineteenth century, who had the first contact with civilization in one of the expeditions of the Peruvian anthropologist Oscar Núñez.
On November 21, 2007 the nation of the Qeros was declared cultural heritage of the nation by the Peruvian nation.

Undoubtedly one of the best journeys of my life and an ambitious project that I start in my life.
