This tutorial covers the lined version of the Bee Boxy pouch. This project is suitable for cotton fabrics. Interfacing may be required depending on fabric thickness and desired structure. Non-fraying material (eg. waterproof canvas) is recommended for the lining and particularly for the small areas of binding. Fusible fleece is used in this tutorial for added structure. A zipper is required, 1-1.5” longer than the chosen width for the main fabric. I am using zipper by the yard but a premade zipper can be substituted.

The Logi pouch directional print tutorial may be useful if your fabric has a one-way design:    • Logi Pouch - Directional Print Versio...

I am sewing on a domestic Juki HZL-DX7.

The Bee Boxy is named after my son, “B” who loves storing all sorts of tiny objects in a variety of bags and pouches.
