We are building the last remaining segment of our backyard mountain bike trail. In the last video we cut down a large eastern hemlock, and in this video pick up by where we left by removing the stump that was left in its place. Once that is done, we could finally build a berm that connect the top and the bottom sections of the trail. I also wanted to account for future maintenance so we also added a small access road and road gap! This trail took a little over a year to build mainly because we didn't work on it 24/7, we took months off in between some project but the end result is a trail we can use in the summer months on bikes and winter months on our approach skis.
