Have you ever wondered what all the connections on your electric bike motor are for? We took a closer look at the ports of the #Bosch Performance Line CX with Smart System for you.

On ‪@boschebikesystems‬ drives with the current Smart System, you will find a total of six connections. These are colour-coded and mechanically coded so that you can't connect the wrong cable to the wrong port. Here is an overview of the e-bike connections:

• Slot for battery cable - large diameter, black
• Display cable connection - small diameter, black
• High Power Port (HPP) - small diameter, orange/yellow - free slot for external current collectors - 12 V / 1 A; max. 3.5 A for 4 seconds
• Low Power Port (LPP) - small diameter, grey/ green - slot for speed sensor or free slot - 3.3 V min. 3.1 V or 12 V / max. 1 A
• Front light connection - small diameter, blue - 12 V
• Rear light connection - small diameter, red - 12 V
Note: max. lighting output power 18 W
