He born in the city Jagraon, and was serving in British army before partition of India and was with his unit, when his parents migrated from Jagraon along with others Muslim, He did not knew about the fate of his parents as was forbidden to visit his home in those dark days. so he traveled to Pakistan and was reunited with his family and was considered dead by his parents.
