Too cold to bring the pup to the cabin in the woods this time, it was -16 overnight!

I fix a gap in the foundation that was letting in a lot of cold air right under the bed. Since the ground was frozen I had to make my own dirt!

I install a pipe for ventilation and put down a new gravel floor. Once the weather warms I'd like to finish it with river rocks and concrete.

I spend a very snowy day building a firewood bin with access so I can grab wood without leaving the cabin. It's going to be very handy once I have my hearth!

Proper wood storage is something I should have built months ago... That's why I love it out here, though, there's so much to learn!
