I just saw the news about Liam Payne. It’s heartbreaking and painful to see about anyone. I wanted to let you know that I changed the title and thumbnail because it feels weird now with this new context. I think it’s going to be really important to be supportive of the other members of One Direction during this difficult time, and especially of Maya Henry and the other people whose stories had come to light recently. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for them and I really hope they have a strong support system around them.

I still think it’s important to acknowledge and share the stories of victims who’ve come forward about experiencing abuse, even if it was at the hands of someone who has tragically passed. That’s why I’ve decided to not take the video down, I don’t want to give the impression that I think their stories shouldn’t have been shared. The stories of victims matter, and I really hope that everyone continues to support them while also keeping those grieving this tragic loss in their thoughts.
