Dropped by to visit Brian (W0BJE) today to check out his new emergency mobile kit. He has a much higher quality level of "kobble" than i do, but im not too proud to show you how well he out-does my kraft 🤠.

Using a B-Tech 25x2 mobile unit, a 12V, 9A/hr sealed battery, and some low-dollar upgrades, he created a top-notch self-contained UHF/VHF radio for emergency situations or hiking base camp.

I'm down right jealous of this rig, so i see a high-frequency version of my own in the near future.
