DISCLAIMER: I forgot to mention the dangers of cutting/sanding lead that will create very dangerous lead dust. It is better to melt and pour the lead into the holes, which is what I will be doing in the future.
Making a wooden musky crankbait for a fishing trip to Lake St. Clair. Showing a step by step process a beginner can follow along with to get started making wooden lures. This process can be used for just about any species of fish with minor differences in bait/hardware sizes.

Forgot to mention: You will need 24 hour epoxy (linked blow) if you want your lures to last, 5 minute epoxy breaks down quickly when exposed to moisture and UV light from the sun.
