The cedar trees in Annaka-juku had a nice atmosphere.
Take a break at Yappongi Children's Park on the way. I was watching it as they were preparing for the game of gateball.
In Matsuida-juku, I bought Tegata Senbei at the American bakery. I will eat it for today's snack.
Lunch is Kamameshi of the mountain pass.
I was enthusiastic, ""I'll do my best to cross the pass!"" However, it was quite a distance to the mountain road and I was tired.
Sakamoto-juku was a post town maintained by the Shogunate, and it was a beautiful straight road.
I heard that it is better to be careful of leeches than bears when crossing the mountain pass, so I regularly checked my shoes for leeches. I didn't see a single one after all. It seems that it will come out in the hot season, so maybe it was not the time yet. I'm glad I didn't come out because if my legs were sucked, I wouldn't be able to get them off myself.
When I was walking, I didn't want to cross the pass again, but when I was editing it, I wanted to walk again. I plan to go with my husband during the pre-leech season. I want him to feel the same emotion.
I ate dinner at the inn. There are several types of set meals, and I chose fried chicken. The fried chicken was frozen and the miso soup was instant, so it would have been better to eat out.
