One of the best ways to learn tactics in pool is just to play the game and walk through the various shot possibilities with someone more experienced. In this video, which is Part 3 of a 3 part series, we are helping Robin Hamlet get ready for a trip to Vegas to play in the American Poolplayer Association's annual national tournament. She will be playing with her 9-ball team just a week after this video is made. Kathy Huestis, an APA skill level 2 player is helping her get ready by playing a match against her. PBIA/ACS certified instructor Jim Brauker talks through the various shot options with them. The main focus here is to understand what shot choices to take and how to understand where the cue ball will be going after the shot based on an understanding of the 30 and 90 degree rules for follow and stop shots respectively.
