God informs us in the Quran that to Him belong the Beautiful Names (20:8). He also specifically asks us to call Him by them (7:180). We should therefore familiarise ourselves with His names.

Most Muslims insist that God has 99 names, however, when we analyse the known list of 99 names, we find many of the names are either not found in the Quran or not found as an official name.
We have therefore made a comprehensive list of God’s Beautiful Names as found in the Quran alone.
