It's Flaked Barley vs Flaked Wheat vs Flaked Oats!

Curious about which flaked grains to put into your NEIPA? These body enhancing adjuncts like flaked wheat, flaked barley, and flaked oats are put to the test.

John created a series of small batch beers, with a bittering charge of Columbus hops and Mosaic hops added for flavor & aroma. Each beer's grain bill was 25% flaked adjunct and 75% base malt so we could do a side by side of the effect each had on the final product.

John asked Mike to taste each one and then pick a favorite while trying to describe how each beer compared to the other.

Both John and Mike seemed to find the flaked wheat beer the most enjoyable.
