Foundation sheets seemed to not have enough wax on them and after first inspection of our new hives the bees seem extra slow drawing them out. We are just starting out but I’m sure every advantage to the bees will help. We used 1.3 pounds of wax to wax 25 foundation sheets. Cost about $0.80 cents per foundation.
