Set your Voltage Cutoff so that you get good performance and safe LiPo packs!
Mystery Line on the Whiteboard:
NiMh batteries can be plugged in to an ESC that is setup for LiPo's. However, if you were to plug a 6 cell NiMh pack in, the ESC would recognize it as a 2s LiPo. The typical performance range of a NiMh pack may have majority of it's peformance occur below the Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC) of the LiPo pack. This will cause your NiMh pack to have a very short run time. If using batteries of a different chemistry, check to make certain your LVC is OK.
