Here is the seventh video for the Sampler Granny Square Blanket. This blanket will consist of 16 different squares with a minimum of 3 colors. Each square will be a different video so no need to rush. I will also have a video on how to sew the blanket together and put a border around the whole blanket.

Cluster instructions: (Yarn over, insert hook in ch. 1 space and pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook) repeat from ( to ) 2 more times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook. Your cluster is made.


Written instructions for the Soft Clusters Square

With your color of choice: Ch. 26 loosely.

Row 1: Single crochet in second chain from hook, ** ch. 1, skip next chain, single crochet in next chain; repeat from ** across; 25 stitches

Row 2: Chain 3, turn; work Cluster in next ch. 1 space. ** ch. 1, work cluster in next ch. 1 space; repeat from ** across, double crochet in last single crochet; 12 clusters.

Row 3: Ch. 1, turn; single crochet in first double crochet, ch. 1. ** single crochet in next ch. 1 space (between the clusters), ch. 1; repeat from ** across, single crochet in top of beginning chain.

Repeat Rows 2-3 until the piece measures approximately 7 inches; do not finish off.

The Edge Round 1: Ch. 1, turn your work, 3 sc into the corner, 25 sc evenly spaced along the edge; repeat around. To join slip stitch into first beginning chain 1.

Round 2: Ch. 1, sc in same stitch, 3 sc in next stitch. ** sc in next 27 sc, 3sc in next sc; repeat from ** around. To join slip stitch into first sc, finish off.
