Kerala Style Kadala Curry / Black Chickpeas Curry / Side dish for Puttu , Appam , Dosa
Ingredients :
*For pressure cook :
Black Chickpeas - 300g ( 1 1/2 cup )
Shallots( small onion ) - 20 ( big size )
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Water - 2 1/2 cup
For preparation :
Coconut oil / Oil
Mustard - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 piece
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 3
Curry leaves
Shallots - 15 ( medium size )
Onion - 1 ( big size )
Crushed ginger - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Chilli powder - 3/4 tbsp
Tomato puree - 2 medium size tomatoes
Fennel seeds powder - 1 tsp
Hot water - 1/2 cup
Thick Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Salt
