GMAT 2023: Everything You Need to Know in 15 Minutes

The GMAT is a standardized test designed to assess your readiness for graduate business programs. It is used by business schools around the world to evaluate applicants.

The GMAT is a computer-based test that consists of four sections:

Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA)
Quantitative Reasoning
Verbal Reasoning
Integrated Reasoning

The AWA is a 30-minute section that measures your ability to think critically and communicate effectively. The Quantitative Reasoning section is a 75-minute section that measures your ability to solve problems using basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data sufficiency. The Verbal Reasoning section is a 75-minute section that measures your ability to understand and analyze written material. The Integrated Reasoning section is a 30-minute section that measures your ability to think critically and solve problems using multiple sources of information.

The GMAT is scored on a scale of 200 to 800, with a total score that is the average of your scores on the four sections. The AWA is scored on a scale of 0 to 6, with a 6 being the highest score.
